Credentialing

Medirite is committed to promoting quality care for its clients. In support of this commitment, practitioners must meet a minimum set of credentialing criteria in order to be able to provide services to their members as in-network or out of network providers.

To be eligible for referrals, In network or Out of network providers must successfully complete the credentialing review process prior to being accepting the patient and serving them. We work on behalf of providers to reduce providers burden to most extent and satisfies the client practice.

Medirite participates in the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH), which offers a Universal Credentialing Data Source to help providers reduce the amount of administration and paperwork involved in credentialing and re-credentialing.

Most Healthcare Carriers allow the credentialing standards established by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). These standards require initial and ongoing verification of all of the following:

  • License to Practice
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) or Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) Certification
  • Education and Training
  • Work History
  • Professional Liability Claims Settlement History
  • Sanctions, Restrictions or Limitations in scope of Practice, as defined by the State Board of Medical Examiners or Licensing Agencies
  • Medicare and Medicaid Sanctions
  • Application with Attestation

Here are some questions which may arise in every physician’s mind which are mentioned below:
